Message I spent several hours searching through posts, FAQs, FSM, and various associated docs. I must be doing something wrong because I was unable to find what's got to be some pretty damn simple info:

I just got a Defi VSD Basis speed/tach gauge (from Kuah at SPL -- he had the BEST price and shipped it the SAME day, props!!) and I can't figure out which ECU wires I need to splice into.

This is the USELESS info that came with the unit:

The ECCS diagram in the FSM is hard to follow and even an experienced non-Z mechanic wasn't able to positively identify the correct wiring points.

The Basis has 4 wires to be attached:
1. Ground
2. +12V
3. Speed signal
4. RPM signal (they say to use primary ignition coil)

I found this post by CeeLo describing Blitz Powermeter installation but it does NOT make clear EXACTLY which ECU wire is the speed signal:

Could someone either
(a) Tell me which colored ECU wires from which numbers of ECU harness positions are the speed and rpm signal wires I need to splice into?

or

(b) Point me to a page that I missed that shows this?

or

(c) Help me interpret the cryptic spaghetti diagram from the FSM?

Heeeeeeelp!
